Pennsylvania publishes statewide election data through the Department of State (DOS), which administers elections with the state's 67 county election offices and maintains the voter registration database from which most of the state's data products are extracted. The state's core products are comma-delimited precinct-level returns and precinct-level registration counts, both reaching back to 1992. Since 2020, the DOS has also published a record-level file of every mail ballot application, one file per election. For those who are interested in taking a deeper dive into the state's available data, we have prepared a quick guide to the available data and where to find them.
